This 15m2 patio in Frome needed a new retaining wall to make better use of the small space. The concrete block wall has then been clad with a treated 8 x 1 to look like sleepers.
The paving is Italian Porcelain in a slate grey colour and single size format.
For grout we have used flow point.
25m2 driveway, constructed with type 3 permeable foundation and 20mm Cotswold chipping. We use this type of gravel because of its angular cut and compaction quality. We don’t recommend using rounded kinds of gravel.
20m2 of standard riven sandstone in grey. We also installed the sleeper beds, making the patio feel like a private space.
This project uses a beautiful rusty Limestone flagstone, complimented with setts mixed up with sandstone, red granite and basalt.
Around 30m2 paved, the remaining beds have been prepared with soil conditioner, ready for planting.
This 45m2 project on a new-build site needed a completely new start. We excavated the entire site by around 8 inches, then installed our own design using grey sandstone with concrete block paving in autumnal colours.
This 45m2 patio uses an age-worn grey sandstone. The edges and surface have been tumbled for a smoother finish. To compliment, and add some interest, we have used a honed grey sandstone long brick as an edge detail.
This garden transformation serves to promote pollinators and create a hub of natural wildlife, designed by https://capabilitycharlotte.com/
Self-binding path gravel has been used to create flowing paths through the space and all the beds were prepared and enhanced before planting.
This project also includes some Indian Sandstone, sleeper-effect concrete planks and a cedar pergola.
This garden transformation includes a 60m2 grey sandstone patio with a charcoal coloured block paver as border and path detail; as well as a new lawn and wildflower garden.
This small garden packs a punch with these premium natural stone products.
The large tiles are grey sawn sandstone, complimented with a buff sawn sandstone herringbone brick and beautiful stone setts.
This 60m2 patio, designed and installed by us, uses a steel grey limestone in a large tile size of 900mm x 600mm.
We have also used a charcoal block-over to form the radial edges, and if you look closely you can see that the straight line of charcoal blocks are actually surface water drains.
This 80m2 drive uses premium block paving to great effect, transforming the front of the property.
This 60m2 split level patio uses a Porcelain tile, complete with a discreet drainage system.
The walls have been constructed with concrete blocks, then clad with stone tiles and some choice lighting.
A complete transformation on a new-build in Frome, Somerset. This project, designed and installed by us, uses 60m2 of porcelain tiles, 45m2 of concrete block paving, 20 linear metres of retaining wall, steps and a new lawn. We also fitted the pergola.
This huge 260m2 block paved driveway, designed and installed by us, won a Marshall’s Regional Award.
This 75m2 patio uses Egyptian tumbled limestone, a beautiful stone and a joy to work with. We also took on the retaining wall which will be finished at a later date.
